Understanding functional checking warranty, parallel imports, and gaming software conditions.

Types of Warranty

Because gaming phones are imported directly, different warranties apply depending on the device condition:

  • Checking Warranty: Pre-owned kits are protected by a standard functional checking warranty (e.g., 7 days) to test touch, battery, and buttons.
  • Manufacturer Warranty: Only applies to official PTA approved local brand-new box packed units, claimable through official local brand service centers.
  • Seller Warranty: Custom software or CPID patch support offered by the seller, subject to final store verification.

Software & Gaming performance Disclaimers

Gaming frame rates (60 FPS, 90 FPS, 120 FPS) and heat management during intensive play can depend on game software optimization, updates, and server load. Fluctuations in game frame rates are software-dependent and do not constitute a hardware defect under warranty scope.

Liquid spillages, screen burns, root access modifications, custom ROM flash attempts, drop damage, and charger short-circuits void functional checking warranty.
